Pensacola Beach’s dining scene is about to get even more exciting with the arrival of The Wharf Fish & Oyster Company and Hideaway Beach Bar, two new restaurant concepts set to open on March 8, 2025, at the former Whiskey Joe’s location on the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk.

For those seeking an upscale yet family-friendly dining experience, The Wharf Fish & Oyster Company delivers Gulf Coast flavors with a focus on fresh, locally sourced seafood. Signature dishes include:
Gulf Oysters Rockefeller – A flavorful twist on a classic

Beyond the menu, The Wharf’s cocktail program promises inventive drinks, including the Paid Vacation, a vodka-based cocktail with passion fruit and tarragon, and A Cherry Good Time, a citrus gin delight with black cherry syrup and lemonade.

Hideaway Beach Bar: Laid-Back Beachfront Vibes
Tucked beneath The Wharf, Hideaway Beach Bar offers a relaxed, toes-in-the-sand experience complete with a food truck, volleyball courts, fire pits, and live music. Beachgoers can indulge in the 50/50 Double Smash Burger, a mouthwatering blend of 50% bacon and 50% Angus beef, alongside refreshing signature cocktails like the Beachfront Mojito and Getting Barrelled, served in a souvenir cup.
“Hideaway is all about fun, great drinks, and a welcoming beach atmosphere,” says Director of Operations Jake Rossman. “It’s the perfect spot to unwind, listen to live music, and soak up the Pensacola Beach vibes.”
Grand Opening Celebration & Job Fair
To kick off its debut, The Wharf Fish & Oyster Company and Hideaway Beach Bar will host a grand opening celebration from March 13-16, featuring live music, special events, and a passport-style punch card system that encourages guests to explore everything the venue has to offer.
